KGCSDA Launches Official Website to Boost Public Access to Information.
The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA) has officially launched its website as part of efforts to enhance transparency, improve information dissemination, and deepen public engagement on the activities of the agency. The development was disclosed on Tuesday in Okene by the General Manager of the agency, Alhaji Chief Momoh Dauda, while addressing journalists during a training programme for members of Local Government Review Committees, Local Government officials, and desk officers from Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) across the state.

According to the General Manager, the launch of the website became imperative in line with the agency’s commitment to openness, accountability, and effective communication with stakeholders at the state, local government, and community levels.
He explained that the platform would serve as a one-stop hub for information on KGCSDA’s programmes, interventions, policies, and achievements, while also providing timely updates on ongoing and completed community development projects across Kogi State.
“The website is designed to increase public access to accurate and up-to-date information about the activities of the agency. It will also strengthen engagement with our partners, development stakeholders, and the general public,” Alhaji Momoh Dauda said. He noted that the initiative aligns with the Kogi State Government’s broader agenda of leveraging digital tools to improve service delivery and promote transparency in governance, especially in community-driven development programmes.

The General Manager further urged stakeholders, community leaders, civil society organisations, and members of the public to explore the website to better understand the mandate and interventions of the agency. The newly launched website can be accessed via https://kgcsda.kg.gov.ng, and features information on the agency’s mandate, projects, news updates, and other relevant resources aimed at supporting community and social development initiatives in the state.

The training, which brought together local government officials and MDA desk officers, is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional capacity and ensure effective implementation and monitoring of community-based development projects across Kogi State.
