Kogi- CARES: Governor Ododo flags off the nutritional sector of the Kogi state community and social development agency’s intervention, under the social services infrastructure of the Nigeria Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus ( NG-CARES)programme in Kogi state. As he commissioned school, water and sanitation projects in Muslim community secondary school Lokongoma-lokoja.

The General manager Kogi state community and social development agency, Chief Dauda Momoh who represented the governor said ” the commencement of the nutritional sector of the agency’s intervention was a major breakthrough and would continue in that trajectory and would reach out to more groups.
Chief Momoh who commended the governor’s support and provision of funds also commended the facilitator of the project Pst Roseline Alabi and the Malnourished Child Group, under whose ouspacis the projects were executed.

According to the facilitator, ” the group identified to support children who are malnourished and raise or improve their nutritional levels.
Governor Ododo also commissioned a block of three class rooms, a water project and a ventilated improved pit (VIP) toilet for the school and Lokongoma community.
The principal of the school expressed appreciation to the governor and the agency and said ” the coming of Ahmed Usman Ododo was the best thing to that has happened to them and wished him a very successful tenure.


The training and sensitisation is indeed most refreshing. Am glad, Okehi contingent is happy to be part of the 2day activities….
