As part of activities marking his one-year anniversary in office, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has inaugurated a block of classrooms, a motorized borehole, and supplied primary healthcare equipment and drugs in Badoko community, Okene LGA. Represented by the General Manager of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Chief Momoh Dauda, the governor was praised for his support, encouragement, and funding that made the projects possible.
The initiatives, targeted at the Widows and Widowers Vulnerable Group, fall under the social services infrastructure of the Nigeria Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus Programme (NG-CARES). The projects aim to improve access to essential social services for vulnerable groups and the broader Badoko community.
